Description
- Chrysanthemum Golden Yellow is a commercial fresh cut flower that is usually used for decorations and can also be stored in the dry form. This flower is is rounded double or semi double flat in shape and these daisy blooms are quite similar in appearance and texture to strawflowers. These plants usually come in pink and white colors with distinctly contrasting yellow centres

- Soil – Loamy, well drained soil with a neutral pH of 6.5. Chrysanthemum are hardy plants and usually do not require any additional fertilizers and can thrive in the right environment without any fertilizers.
- Temperature – Maintain a slightly moist soil with temperature ranging between 19 to 24°C(65 to 75°F) until germination.
- Water – Regular watering keeps the flowers healthy. However, too much watering can induce fungal diseases. So watch out for over watering.
- Spot – It is crucial that Chrysanthemum are protected from becoming too wet since they are susceptible to mildew. Ensure that the place you choose to grow these plants has sufficient drainage and good air circulation.
- Disbudding & Staking – Large blooms can be maintained by removing the side shoots. Also Chrysanthemum tend to bend from the stems due to weight of the flower bulbs which can be avoided by staking the plants with a good support.
