• Muskmelon, also known as Cucumis melo, is a species of melon that belongs to the gourd family. It’s closely related to other plants like squash, pumpkin, zucchini, and watermelon. Muskmelon has ribbed, netted or smooth skin and a sweet, or bland flavor with or without a musky aroma.

• Soil – Use loamy, well-drained, sandy soil with PH around 6.
• Water – Give your musk melon regular water in the summer season and 2 days once in winter or rainy season.
• Sunlight – Musk melon plants prefer 6-8 hours of full sunlight.
• Temperature – The best growing temperature for musk melon plants ranges between 25-35 degrees Celsius.
• Common pests – Aphids, Cucumber Beetles, Squash Vine Borer Moths, and Fusarium Wilt are commonly found in musk melon plants. Use organic pesticide `Neem oil’ it protects the plant from harmful pests.
