• Kaddu is round, beautiful with slightly rubbed skin, delicious, and have too many health benefits; looking cute, and attractive and they are extremely tasty. You can easily grow pumpkins in the container because it does not need much space to grow and place them on your balcony, terrace, or garden.

• Sunlight – Pumpkin plant needs full sunlight for good growth.
• Water – Pumpkin needs lots of water for quick growth. Give regular and deep water during summer days; keep moisture in the soil and try to keep dry leaves and fruits. Give water 2-3 days once in winter or rainy days.
• Soil – Use well-drained, fertile, loose soil high in organic matter with 5.8 to 6.8 pH.
• Temperature – Pumpkin plants are growing quickly in temperatures between 21-32 degree Celsius.
• Fertilizer – For good growth of pumpkin, give a regular treatment of compost or manure with water.
• Common pests – Squash bugs, Cucumber beetles, Aphids, Squash vine borer, Powdery mildew, and Anthracnose are commonly found in pumpkin plants. Use organic pesticide ‘neem oil’ it protects the plant from harmful pests.
