• Yard-long beans are an annual legume that grows up to 3 feet tall and the plant grows above 8-15 feet. These beans have bright three heart-shaped leaves and the flowers are beautiful with pale-purple and white petals. It is one of the longest varieties of beans which gives a delicious taste to all the dishes.

• Temperature – The ideal temperature for growing yard long beans is 10-27°C. If the temperature is more than 35°C then the flowers may drop.
• Common Pests – Yard long bean plant is infected by black bean aphids, slugs, and snails, for avoiding these pests use a neem oil spray. And if you’re facing a problem with birds that eat buds, leaves, fruits, or vegetables, protect the plants by covering them with netting.
