- Spinach microgreen plants are a very easy way to grow your own food. Even if you have no experience with them, you should be able to grow spinach microgreens in just 3 weeks. - Soil – Sprinkle spinach seeds evenly across the surface of the growing medium. Press them down gently to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.
- Sunlight – Place the tray in a location with indirect sunlight or under grow lights. Spinach microgreens don’t require direct sun but need good light for healthy growth.
- Water – Water the seeds thoroughly after planting. Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid waterlogging.
- Spinach seeds will germinate in about 7 to 14 days. Once the seedlings are a few inches tall, they are ready for the next step.
- Harvest spinach microgreens when they reach a height of 5-8 cm. Use scissors to cut them just above the soil level.
